トスカーナのガルファニャーナ（ルッカ）にあるヴァリ湖(Lago di Vagli)には、イタリアの電力会社エネルが持っている大きなダムがある。
そのダムには、廃墟になった中世の街が沈んでいて、約10年に一度、ダムの清掃？のために水が抜かれる時だけ、その街を歩くことができるらしい。
公式なデータは見つからないけれど、前回が2004年だったようなので、次は2014年だろうか。行ってみたい。
